Information on emails from TFPM

It has been a while since you received an email from the Task Force on Process Mining (TFPM). As an example, you did not receive an email for the latest newsletter (#16), which appeared last December.

The reason for this 'omission' is a technical one, and has to do with the fact that rules for sending emails are continuously being strengthened. A recent change in these rules required the authentication of the domain from which the emails are send. Without this authentication, emails can still be send, but most likely they will end up in your spam folder (or even being quarantined). As the emails from the Task Force are send from news@tf-pm.org, to avoid filling your spam folder, we needed to authenticate the domain tf-pm.org. Unfortunately, this authentication was not feasible on the provider that hosted the domain, and we had to move the domain to another provider.

This news item is to inform you that the tf-pm.org domain has now been properly authenticated. As a result, you can now again expect an email from us when a new newsletter appears or when we feel we have something important to share with you.
