This issue dedicates its opening to the recently concluded Sixth International Conference on Process Mining (ICPM 2024), with reflections written by the General Chair, Andrea Burattin, and a program report by the PC Chairs, Xixi Lu, Luise Pufahl, and Minseok Song. For our user's corner, Robert Daamen (Digital Ambassador for Data-Driven Process Analytics and Head of the Process Mining Center of Excellence & Services – Business Change) shares with us his experience with process mining at Uniper in the challenging domain of energy business. Sareh Sadeghianasl, lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia) and awarded the Best PhD Dissertation Runner-up at ICPM 2023, goes through her academic story involving aspects of gamification, visual analytics, and data quality. To keep an eye out for interesting publication opportunities, we are glad to share the calls for papers from two upcoming special issues in renowned journals about topics of clear interest to our community: "AI-Enhanced Business Process Management" (Information Sytems, Elsevier), announced by Valeria Fionda, Antonio Ielo, Arik Senderovich, and Emilio Sulis, and "Novel Applications of Blockchain for Information Systems and Business Process Management" (Blockchain: Research and Applications, Elsevier), announced by Giovanni Meroni, Andrea Morichetta, and Mattia Salnitri.
