On August 9, 2023, the IEEE SA has approved the revised XES Standard. As a result, the original 1849-2016 XES Standard has now been superseded by the 1849-2023 XES Standard. As a result, the XES Standard is now an active IEEE standard until the year 2033. The revised XES Standard includes all standard extensions that were accepted so far.
