PhD Summer School on Process Mining 2.0 — Welcome Back to Bolzano!

We are pleased to announce the second PhD Summer School on Process Mining, which will be hosted in Bolzano from June 29 to July 3, 2026. The school's intended audience are doctoral students and early-stage researchers interested in data-driven process analysis.

The program will cover both foundational concepts and advanced topics, including key formalisms and their properties for procedural and declarative approaches, process discovery, conformance checking, performance analysis and simulation, and emerging research directions in process mining. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on sessions, and discussions with leading experts in the Process Mining field, participants will gain both strong theoretical foundations and practical skills. The summer school will also feature a full industry day, offering participants the opportunity to explore real-world industrial cases and their connection to the concepts learned during the school.

For participants who need to earn ECTS credits, the school will offer final projects and/or tests; upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate with ECTS points corresponding to the effort.
